The beginning of this week started with the Jeep-siege of Daytona. Jeeps were everywhere. On the roads, on the International Speedway, on the Beach…
The biggest Jeep event in the nation started only 7 years ago, and the first one attracted only a few hundred of Jeeps. In 2016 there were more than 4,000 Jeeps.
On the Speedway the build a challenging obstacle and climb course.
It was not a sunny morning today, April 30th, but it is the last day of a week-long event, so I went to the balcony and took a short video of the endless parade of Jeeps on the beach.
We live in the area where there is a mile-long stretch with not a single hotel, and just imagine the level of Jeep activity close to our hotels and resorts.
This is a relatively new and wonderful event for Daytona
Here is a 1-minute video I took today at 8:30 AM from my balcony
I Googled Jeep Beach and just picked one video to give you the idea of the event.
