Monday, the 1st of May. Start of a new month and a new week. Have lots on the plate for this month. Cows coming home, real estate market picking up, deep cleaning the house, and most of all fishing!
It is starting to pick up in the fishing world up here. Have yet to hear of any monsters being pulled out but people are at least able to get their lines in the water! I love to fish especially with a group of friends. We always have a great time no matter if we catch something or not.
I think this year we are planning to hit a few more places than last year. Skagway Reservoir is a must (closet one to us), Bison Reservoir which is a member only fishing club (easy to join and become a member), Eleven Mile Reservoir (only fished here twice in my life), and Spinney Reservoir. These are within a 20 minute to two-hour drive from the Cripple Creek Victor district. All but Bison are open to the public and are breathtaking!
