Keep calm and keep the house clean!

I am happy knowing Jim is here washing the house.
No more dirty windows! No more nasty mildew.
No more bird poo on the columns!
If you love something, you keep it clean. We wash our cars, the floors, and the pets we love. We wash our clothes and our dirty shoes. I hope we all wash off when we get dirty! So do you wash your house?

Seems many people list their homes after cleaning the interior and mowing the lawn, trimming the bushes and doing some touch up on that old paint. One thing all sellers need to think about when getting ready to have their agent list their home is washing the house. That means the trim, windows, doors and any vinyl siding. If  needed clean that driveway, deck, and sidewalk. All the things will make your home stand out when those potential buyer cruise by your home. YES put that one on the list to see!

There is nothing pretty about green exterior, not green by paint but by mildew and algae growing up exterior walls! Selling a home means preparing for that first impression. You want buyers to know your house has been cared for and this will make them feel at ease. You are making a statement that you keep your house maintained. This means less future problems they might have.

the columns are clean again!
Tim and I are not moving anytime soon but we have been having our home professionally washed for years. We usually make it every two years, but I started to realize we might need to start doing this every year. It does not cost very much when you consider how clean the windows look after it is all done. When you have many windows and plenty of glass and storms doors, its a time saving deal! It would take tall ladders and a lot of  time and work for us to get everything as clean as the professionals can. You might also just go ahead and have those gutters cleaned, too. Believe me they probably need it.
Every detail matters!
Taking care of your home and making sure it is clean and appealing means you are more likely to get closer to asking price or full price. You are competing with other homes and just being clean and well kept might put your home at #1 and SOLD!

We have been using the same house washer for years 'Clarksville Pressure Wash.' They also do patios and driveways. So go ahead, get that house washed-- make it sparkle and shine! Whether you are listing or just maintaining your home.

Make your heart happy. Show that you take care of the details by having your house washed!
