2.) I Can Handle Problems With Your Transaction As They Happen. Ideally, I want you to have a problem free experience. However, this is real estate and stuff happens. A full time agent can address problems as they happen rather than waiting for a lunch break or waiting until they get off work. Do you know how many questions I get the day before closing or even hours before closing? A ton. Could you imagine if my lack of availability caused you to have to get an extension on your closing?
3.) I Can Usually Meet You When You Are Available. When I was doing real estate part time, this was one of the biggest problems I would run into. Not everybody works Monday-Friday. Some people have off on Monday and need for me to meet them or show them houses on a Monday. If I'm working another job and you want to see a house on Monday at 1:00, what do I do? In this market, if I put you off until after I get off work or until another day, that house could be gone. If I put you off until I get off of my regular job, I am doing you a disservice.
4.) I'm In This Market Every Day. This Is What I Do. I'm engaged in real estate every single day. I search the multiple listing service every single day. I know what the prices are and what they should be. I know what your competition is doing. I see their price adjustments and how that could affect you. I know the condition of their homes and how yours compares. When it comes to negotiation time, who do you want on your side?
5.) This Is How I Provide For My Family, So You'll Get My Best Effort. Bottom line is this: Real Estate is how I provide for my family. I don't have another source of income. If I don't sell or help you find the house you want, I don't pay my bills. I'm not desperate though. I don't need to take overpriced listings. I don't need to show houses to unqualified buyers. I only take listings that I believe I can sell. I spend money on each listing, so if I don't sell it, I don't break even, I actually lose money. I don't show houses to people who aren't qualified.
