Call Me Petty but Pls. Stop with the SHOUTING!

I know that there are bigger and more important issues in real estate currently.  Low inventory, multiple offers, possibility of interest rates going up....but just call me petty.  This morning I was reviewing my email and of course, I had several email listing flyers to open.

ShoutingM

Whether its the comment section on my MLS, the email flyer, the hard copy flyer at the house....please stop with the ALL CAPS!  I know you are excited that you got the listing, I know you think that this house is just the most perfect house on the block but you having the description in all CAPS just makes those of us that know how to use the written language thta we are raised with especially in today's digital world - all CAPS is the equivalent of a screeching fishmonger advertising your ware!

ShoutingLips

Stop it! Even if I did have a client, the all caps makes it so distracting to me that I just can't finish reading your well thought out description of this most wonderful home!  So do your seller a service, shift off the Cap Lock key....write it in mix cap and learn how to use the CAPS to emphasize one or two things instead of SHOUTING like there is a fire in the house!

Rant over!

Glad that your part of the group that understands why all CAPS can be so annoying - Titles are the proper place for them...not the whole article or listing.  English teachers probably are rolling in their graves as we speak....

I made the mistake of making a political contribution to a local candidate for office.  While there is not an abuse of caps, there is an abuse of emergency or ugent statements.  I just delete one after the other.  It's so annoying.  They keep trying to hit a panic button for money.
