Ballantyne Breakfast Club - Love the name of the group! There are just enough meetings and the cost is PERFECT for everyone! It would be fun and very good if every town had something like this for their residents. Obviously, Ballantyne is a very special place to live!

Patricia Feager ~ hi Patricia... nothing wrong with free! Ballantyne is a unique area and this breakfast club has been going strong for 17 years now... all run by volunteers and the Ballantyne Hotel is nice enough to offer a free room to use for the meetings and to provide breakfast.

Endre Barath, Jr. ~ hi Endre... the Ballantyne Breakfast Club never seems to have a problem attracting attendees in the morning. It's totally run by volunteers and the Ballantyne Hotel is nice enough to provide a free room and free breakfast... a lunch group would probably require people to pay and we'd get less attendance. Plus most people who attend live within a 5-10 minute car ride from the hotel and that way can move on with their day right after.

A wonderful way to keep in touch with what's going on in the community. I've started to go to City Council and other meetings for just that reason here in Carmel-by-the-Sea. Also a good place to meet new people who are also civic minded.

Hella M. Rothwell, Broker/Realtor® ~ hi Hella... Charlotte is just too big a city for me to fuss with City Council meetings... very overwhelming. But I like these small neighborhood groups where you can really deep dive into issues.
