Those that follow my obsession with this one naturally shaped Heart Tree may begin to worry about me. But the Change of Seasons are one of the great reasons so many New England's Visit the White Mountains of New Hampshire

Green with Envy...June through August.

Its Mid-September... and I really should be back at School.

early October

Early October...warm days and campfire nights.

Columbus Day...Peak Mid-October.

Holloween

Hanging on at Halloween.

Waning days of November.

December holds the shortest daylight days of the year.

icy heart

Winter... Icy nights and frosty days seem to last forever.

... but wait

The next season is on its way... Welcome to New England and enjoy the ride.

These Photos were all taken on Route 112 "the Kanc" in Lincoln NH. I stop at this spot frequently as I am a Realtor with an office only a few miles from here.

Steve- I would only worry about you if you quit photographing your Heart Tree!  I think one of the first posts of yours that I read was about this tree!  And this is especially appreciated because we don't get the distinct season change like you do up north.

I'm so glad that Kathy Streib featured your post in her "Ah-ha" moments for the week! I missed this post and absolutely love this heart shaped tree in all its glory re-inventing itself throughout the year! My dad was born in New Hampshire and then grew up in Vermont..I remember many trips to see family living there.

Love the colors from New England.  My grandfather was from Maine and then moved to Louisianna in the '20s to help his father build the world's first yellow pine pulp paper mill.  Out in the middle of the piney woods of North Central Lousianna. 

I love being in the country.

In black and white photography one uses an assortment of lenses to accentuate cloud, lighting. These days photoshop will allow to filter these color making photos so easy.......
