Too many times these days I am asked "How is the Real Estate Market doing"? I would not mind the question so much but when I am asked it is with such doom and gloom! I always nicely smile and say fine! Luckily I live in an area that has not been hit so hard. I am a Realtor in Oxford Maryland. I became a Realtor 3 years ago and have had 2 very successful years. I have been told by many other Realtors that this is the toughest market they have ever seen. I have not sold anything this year - YET but I have confidence that I will (there is that positive attitude that we all need). I have shown a lot of property to buyers. So I feel confident that I will sell something this year! I became a Realtor because my children are now in school full-time. I stayed home with them while they were little so that I could raise them, not a day care. I consider myself very lucky and have had the best of both worlds - raising my kids but getting out in the evenings for adult time. I bar-tend at night while my husband is home with the kids. I bar-tend at night at a local restaurant called Latitiude 38. I enjoy it very much and have many contacts for future Real Estate deals because of working at Latitude.
I guess the whole point of this blog is to let buyers and sellers know a little bit about me. I enjoy my job as a Realtor and I feel very fortunate to live in such a beautiful area that has allowed me to be so successful. If you are looking for a Realtor I would love to help you. I work for Lacaze Meredith Real Estate, a Long and Foster Co in Oxford Maryland. I am available 7 days a week. Call 410-310-4767
