My main strength is my nurturing nature to help clients do what is right for them.
I have talked sellers out of selling their homes and I have talked buyers out of purchasing what I thought was not the right home.
I have encouraged buyers to rent rather than buy.
I have convinced potential sellers to stay in their present condo rather than go to assisted living.
Just recently I helped long time friends who 'thought ' they wanted to sell their home and move to a condo.
I took the time to show them numerous places, ran an ad for a particular development and talked about their desired location on my radio show.
I truly feel they are in the right place for the time.
Their home is perfect for them and is designed for aging in place.
The more they looked the more more anxious they became.
They felt they were "wasting my time' and were ready to sign a listing. When we spent some serious time discussing the pros and cons of a move, they realized ...this was not the right time.
I am very able to be in the moment and take the time to council my clients.
This strength does create a weakness...running out of time to get enough rest. Look.. it now after 11 PM and I am just writing this blog for Carol's contest.
Have to be up early for my morning personal trainer who will ask me how my sleep pattern is going this week.
And that is my weakness.
