Happy Mother's Day to everyone! With our busy schedules as Realtors and real estate professionals working day to day, we can forget about our family sometimes and we need to take a moment each and everyday to spend with them, especially today being Mother's Day. After all, our family is what most of us work hard for.
Today for Mother's day, I took my mother and my family on a picnic at one of the special parks surrounded by fresh air and the Redwoods that living in Del Norte and Humboldt County California provides. It is nice living up here because the pace of life is a little slower than in the big cities and we are surrounded by nature all over, the Redwood Forest inland, and the Pacific Ocean to the west. After lunch, we then took a stroll at one of the beaches in Crescent City and went hiking at some of the trails.
We finally got back home to Eureka and are preparing for our Mother's Day family dinner. Can't wait for that. I hope everyone took time off today and spent it with their family, especially their mothers, and if you have not done so yet, there is still time! So have fun and enjoy!
