If you are looking for a pet, then the Homeward Bound CT Shelter Dog Adoption Event This Weekend May 20th & 21st at the Durham Fairgrounds Cow Palace located on 24 Town House Road, Durham, CT is the place to be. At this event you can not only be able to adopt the dog you are looking for, but also rescue one.
Homeward Bound CT is a group of friends who are committed to finding homes for dogs in kill shelters not only in Connecticut but across the country as well. I am not a pet person but my oldest son and daughter in-law is, and they have three rescue dogs. However, I do recognize the need to rescue these dogs, so for anyone who is looking to bring a dog into their home, rescuing a dog from one of these kill shelters is the perfect way to do it.
At the Homeward Bound CT Shelter Dog Adoption Event This Weekend there will be more than 50 shelter dogs and puppies who are hoping to find a new home. If you can not be at this event, but want to adopt your new best friend you can do so on the Homeward Bound CT website.
