We work best, when we experience peace and tranquility from within. Real estate sales is a stressful way to earn a consistent income. The emphasis is on “consistent!”
Every day needs to begin on a positive note. Early morning routines become a necessity and a requirement to maintain that state of mind throughout the day.
We each have a method to accomplish this mental state. For some people, it may be yoga exercises or just sitting and meditating. For others, it’s more rigorous with focus on accomplishing a strength task to clear the mind.
Mine is the latter, and I don’t dare miss a day of it. It’s part of my life routine. We all have those habits that need to be played out every day. For me, it’s a rigorous 20 minute workout with nothing more than a 30 second break between routines.
I can do a complete upper body workout within a 20 minute period and every muscle in my body is fatigued. It’s strenuous. My lower body is the anchor, and all muscles are engaged to stabilize me. I can’t imagine a day without it; and if I’m not in the gym, I have that setup in my basement.
One is never too old nor too out of shape. We all begin at step one and progress from there. It takes focus and discipline, but what we do for a living takes focus and discipline. We’re “pros” at it, right???
I watch others within my profession become unhealthy every day. We are what we eat; and we are a reflection of our physical condition. I began my journey 4 years ago. Good health has become a habit and lifestyle now, and it will continue to improve.
I read comments every day that reflect the urge of agents to join the battle and change lifestyle. To get healthy; feel better physically, mentally, emotionally and socially. To work more efficiently and improve the overall quality of life.
This can all be accomplished by eating healthy and beginning every day with a 20 minute strength workout. I know it’s a story you’ve heard and probably sick of hearing, but now think about it and do it. The older we get, the more difficult it is to become reconditioned!!! Extend your life…you owe it to those around you.
And you’ll work better…. Just saying!!!
