Everyday Begins With A Clean Slate and Clear Mind | My Best Option

We work best, when we experience peace and tranquility from within. Real estate sales is a stressful way to earn a consistent income.  The emphasis is on “consistent!”

Every day needs to begin on a positive note. Early morning routines become a necessity and a requirement to maintain that state of mind throughout the day.

We each have a method to accomplish this mental state.  For some people, it may be yoga exercises or just sitting and meditating. For others, it’s more rigorous with focus on accomplishing a strength task to clear the mind.

Mine is the latter, and I don’t dare miss a day of it. It’s part of my life routine. We all have those habits that need to be played out every day. For me, it’s a rigorous 20 minute workout with nothing more than a 30 second break between routines.

I can do a complete upper body workout within a 20 minute period and every muscle in my body is fatigued. It’s strenuous. My lower body is the anchor, and all muscles are engaged to stabilize me. I can’t imagine a day without it; and if I’m not in the gym, I have that setup in my basement.

One is never too old nor too out of shape.  We all begin at step one and progress from there.  It takes focus and discipline, but what we do for a living takes focus and discipline.  We’re “pros” at it, right???

I watch others within my profession become unhealthy every day. We are what we eat; and we are a reflection of our physical condition.  I began my journey 4 years ago. Good health has become a habit and lifestyle now, and it will continue to improve.

I read comments every day that reflect the urge of agents to join the battle and change lifestyle. To get healthy; feel better physically, mentally, emotionally and socially. To work more efficiently and improve the overall quality of life.

This can all be accomplished by eating healthy and beginning every day with a 20 minute strength workout. I know it’s a story you’ve heard and probably sick of hearing, but now think about it and do it. The older we get, the more difficult it is to become reconditioned!!! Extend your life…you owe it to those around you.

And you’ll work better…. Just saying!!!

I sometimes wonder if there was a gym anywhere nearby if I'd have the nerve to go. My son will drive an hour to a gym, and I admire his dedication, but I'd never do tht.

Marte Cliff you'd love it.... you don't have a gym in your area... my house is a 6 minute drive to the gym.... that's as far away as I want it to be....

It's 15 or 20 minutes just for me to get to town and the grocery store - and there's no gym there. I'd have to go on to another town.

We had a "Curves" for a while and I thought about going there - but I walked in one day and the music sent me quickly back out the door. It wasn't just an annoying sound, it was LOUD.

B~you don't need to hear that I believe...but this is a marathon, not a sprint. You need to keep going for the long haul. And that means "training" every single day, without fail. You and I already are in sync in the physical aspect. I think of you often, as I have always been a physically fit person, so it's in the genes (several generations of physically-minded women on my mother's side) and it is a daily part of what makes me tick.

It seems to be that people who were active in a solo fashion can be more self-motivated than those who grew up playing only team sports. I was a dancer, gymnast, and a runner and those are sports that you do mostly in a singular fashion, as opposed to soccer, rugby, basketball, baseball, softball. I didn't mention one of my favorite sports, football, because women aren't as popular in that team sport, sadly.

Gayle Rich-Boxman Fishhawk Lake Real Estate oh, a marathon it is.... I spoke at the local hospital last evening on exercising, clean eating and staying exceptionally fit... I do that session at the end of every month.... and today is leg day!!!! I'd say you and I are killing it everyday.... you're the best....

my first major in college was physical education.... I loved team sports...was always the capt....and the best experience I remember was practicing with a semi-pro women's softball team in Ct....  but nothing trumps lifting weights....

I'm joining a weightlifting organization that's owned and run by two Olympic weightlifting coaches.... we'll see how far I can go before I hit a wall.... I'm 71 and feeling very strong .... it takes longer for me to increase weights on the bar.... I need to train longer to add 2.5 pounds.... but the training is great.... I do the stack on most machines and 8 to 10 reps with it...
