Day in the life of a Beverly Hills Realtor: how does it compare to your day?
Just as a background: Currently I have five properties in Escrow. Four of them are Vacant Lots and it is interesting to see, now with all the highs and lows of the negotiation having been completed you would think we are in the easier part of the transaction. Well quite the opposite is happening as we are meandering through the Escrow Period. I find myself getting a good work out and I do not mean physically but mentally due to the various challenges each of the Escrows bring to the table.
To give you a sample: One of the lots involves seller financing which is worthy of writing a post about that part of the negotiations alone. Another lot has issues with Title clearing, there is a lean that needs to be removed, also worthy of a blog post just about the clearing process. The third lot has a tenant on it with a farm which involves evicting the tenant with livestock truly worthy of another post. (keep in mind this is Los Angles) Then there is a very high end land with multiple sellers and multiple buyers involved. Then to boot there is a home we are in Escrow that ha a VA loan as most of you know that comes with its own challenges.
In between all these dramatic transactions, there are four other land listings that need to be marketed and sold. Just as well as dealing with a couple buyers and a couple lease clients trying to find them a roof under their heads as well.
Then on top I have a new listing that R’fin has designated as a “hot property” unfortunately I cannot show it until the Trustee has removed all the “stuff” owner was a hoarder...
