North Georgia Education

Okay, school is out. For many that means (A) go on vacation, then (B) find a better school for the kids.

Foremost on many people’s minds when moving to a new community is the quality of education. Even for those without children in the household, good schools contribute to sustained property values, stable neighborhoods and the common best interest in community itself.

North Georgia offers some of the finest schools & school systems in the Southeast – and the US. Launch of the HOPE Scholarship in 1993 served to substantially elevate both SAT scores & numbers of state university applications. It further motivates college-bound students to stay in state. The result is an enhanced quality of education at every level.

Best High Schools in Georgia

Outstanding public schools can be found throughout these North Georgia counties:

Cobb               ~          $300,000 to $500,000 Cobb homes

Dekalb           ~          $300,000 to $500,000 Dekalb homes

Forsyth           ~          $300,000 to $500,000 Forsyth homes

Fulton            ~          $300,000 to $500,000 Fulton homes

Gwinnett        ~          $300,000 to $500,000 Gwinnett homes

Do not be concerned if a school you know is not listed. As with all ranking systems, exceptional candidates are often omitted due to any number of criteria.

Many schools have established nonprofit charitable foundations to support needs of students, faculty & administration, far beyond funds available from the state, county or conventional PTA.

Depending on the district, schools offer a range of advanced program options:

The Georgia Governor's Honors Program (GHP) is a four-week summer residential program that provides intellectually gifted & artistically talented high school students challenging opportunities not usually available during the regular school year. Selection for GHP is a competitive process consisting of interviews at the school and district level.

Dual enrollment enables qualified high school students to earn college credit while working on their diploma.

Charter schools emphasize innovation, school choice, parental involvement, student achievement, accountability, communication & collaboration.

Magnet schools offer a wide range of distinctive education programs, with emphasis on math, science, technology, foreign language, arts & humanities.

Regardless of your incentive to reside in a superior school district, options abound across North Georgia.

Good morning, Peter Stoddard schools are a big part of pinpointing a home relocation.... and having a buyer's agent who knows the area and understands this fact is invaluable.... they would be wise to call Peter Stoddard when searching for a buyer's agent....

Thanks Carol and Bob.  I have one question.  I have several blogs I'd like to place on ActiveRain.  Would it be better to trickle them out slowly or is there any harm in posting rapid fire?  I expect my regular pace will be one per week

Very actually article, but I can’t agree with author. Our education system is far from ideal, most students do not study, but order work on such sites https://pro-papers.com. It is very popular now, but is harmful in the future.
