To Write You Have To Start.

Hi, folks. Well, I’m here again to try and regain my long lost blogging mojo. I figure I’ll just start writing and see where it goes.

Once upon a time, there was a wee little real estate broker, Broker Bryant. He was incredibly good looking and very humble. For years he was a shining light in the blogging world. His light was only outshined by his enormous ego.

Broker Bryant was putting out the “World’s Best” real estate articles at a rate of 20-30 articles a month. Then nothing. For several years. The hamster had fallen off the wheel. THE END

When I was a prolific writer a major amount of my business came from Active Rain. Writing, posting and participating on Active Rain, I found, was very relaxing and it gave me a chance to really define what it is I did in my business. It forced me to examine the way I did things. And this made me a better real estate broker.

My writing strategy on Active Rain was very simple.

1. Write about what I do and where I do it.

2. Write for agents and consumers alike.

3. Write consistently and post on the same days and at the same times.

4. Write with sincerity and knowledge.

5. Write informatively and entertainingly.

6. Write opinionated articles to feed conversations.

7. Write the way I talk.

That’s it. A simple plan but it worked. In my opinion creating great content is the best way to “attract” sellers and buyers who are ready to do business with you.

So I think my new plan is…………..go back to the old plan!!

Hey, look at this….I just wrote an article!! Now I just need to do it again and again and again.
