Expert and trusted advisors are a must in our fast-paced world….
Relying on expert advice is critical in the fast-paced world we live in. I always seek out experts in the various fields. Just as an example, when I go to the fishmonger I trust his recommendations. When, Diane and I go to a Restaurant, we ask the waiter or waitress what their input is about the various meals on the menu. As we are trying to narrow down the list, we rely on their input. There is an immediate trust established.
As we determine and recognize that their advice was good, we become repeat customers. I also go back to the same Wine Guy, who always stirs me in the right direction consistently. Just as we go back and seek out the same waiter or waitress in the Restaurant we frequent, even if it is a Restaurant we rarely we visit. The rewards are mutual, it is like meeting old trusted friends again. At the same time the quality of the service goes immediately to the next level.
The same thing happens in my Real Estate practice. When my closed transaction clients call or email me with a question or request my help, they are placed on a higher priority. I want to make sure that they get their answer to the question they reached out about relatively quickly.
Most of the time the requests are simple and easy, other times it is more complex. Either way they get a quick acknowledgement of their email or voice mail with an approximate time line I anticipate to getting them the answer(s).
This attitude and approach has earned me the respect and “Realtor for Life” moniker in most of my client’s eyes. Many of my lease clients, became buyers and the buyers became, sellers & repeat buyers again.
The feedback is consistently very similar “… thank you for giving us the ‘straight advice’…”,” …thank you for always being there for us…” I could go on and on.
I am thrilled, when they recognized that I am truly looking out for their best interest and I have the patience to get them what they want. I appreciate loyalty and I earn it day in and day out.
Not only do I give expert advice, but I give it relatively quickly. Most of my clients appreciate that they are being treated as if they were my only client. Then when the conversation goes on how am I doing, they find out I have about ten to fourteen listings depending when they reach out to me. At the same time, they learn that I have three to six Escrows at the same time.
