In honor of Adopt-a-Shelter-Cat Month... Adams County, Colorado Animal Shelter is having a HUGE sale!
All adult cats will be $25.00 (some exceptions apply.) Typically the cost to adopt a cat runs around $100 so NOW is the time to pick your future furbaby!
Meet Bubba....story of adoption.
Bubba is our rescue cat and came from Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
He is more like a dog in a cats body and is an amazing companion and friend to all.
Bubba lets my nieces and me dress him up for photo shoots to share with the world. He loves being the center of attention and he IS a Bronco Fan! The back story is a fun one... I went with a friend to the animal shelter in Lake Havasu City, Arizona just to LOOK at some of the fur babies. I saw a Bengal cat that looked like a miniature tiger and immediately wanted my husband to look at him.
We went back to the shelter and the Bengal cat was howling and very skittish which was not something my husband felt he was looking for in a cat. The volunteer asked us to look at Bubba. He had been in the shelter for over 6 months only because she had been paying his food bill. She said he had the best personality she had seen in the shelter, especially since he had been in the cage for so long.
Bubba was so happy to have us hold him and was purring so loud that my husband fell in love with this guy so we filled out the papers to adopt him immediately.
Bubba loves people and will go with anyone who is nice to him. He would visit the neighbors, rub and play with their dogs and would actually get in any ones car if the door was open. He gets along with all my Cosmic Characters and is always smiling!
We have been blessed with this dog in a cats body and enjoy his conversations letting us know when he is hungry or wants to go outside.
Cat's are great pets because they can use a box and don't need to be walked.
