Buying Your San Antonio Home: Closing costs
Purchasing a home will involve a number of parties and services to the transaction. For example:
The Lender: Most likely will require a survey and an appraisal to be completed.
The Title Company: Hires an attorney to prepare the conveyance document.
Inspection: During the option period, you probably will want an inspection of the property performed by a licensed inspector.
You can expect fees for such services as appraisal, survey, inspections, hazard insurance, loan origination, credit report, document preparation, title search and insurance, recording fees, notary, attorney and escrow.
You will pay for some fees and the seller will pay for others. The costs will vary depending on each transaction. Most lenders will provide you with a good faith estimate of these costs and you may discuss it with your REALTOR®.
