June 2017 begins with an interesting shift in the Glacier View Meadows real estate market, in Livermore Colorado.
The majority of the homes available for sale today are very well appointed, higher end custom homes. Some have outstanding snowcapped mountain views, some a large barn, a 4 car garage or a large workshop with loft. Each one is beautiful and unique, with outstanding craftsmanship, detail and upscale features.

Inventory is extremely low, with only 11 homes on the market, and 8 of those are priced between $400,000 and $1.2 million.
I hope you can appreciate why this current shift in the market is remarkable. Half of the 8 higher-end homes are owned by the original homeowner and have never been offered before!
This is a great opportunity for those discerning buyers who have been looking for a high-end mountain home near Fort Collins. Until now, only a few were available in Glacier View.
This mountain community offers a quiet and peaceful retreat, from the busy city-life. Only 45-50 minutes from midtown Fort Collins, Glacier View Meadows provides a little extra elbow room, with small acreage lots, far away from the daily hustle and bustle. The commute to/from Fort Collins is an easy one via Hwy 287. Commuters, telecommuters and many retirees make Glacier View their home.

I’ve always said there is something for everyone here. I’m happy to see the higher-end homes become available for those buyers who have been waiting. We are expecting more moderate priced homes to come on the market soon.
