Been fighting a cold all weekend. Today I woke up with a splitting headache, stufy head, and sore throat. Decided to lay low today and take it easy. By noon, I could not get rid of my headache so I relied on my old holistic remedy. Going to the beach. I've always found the salty ocean air helped decongest a stuffy head.

Got to watch a Coast Guard helicopter hovering above a drifting boat the entire time I was at the beach (45 mins). Saw a rescue basket going up and down. Not sure what was going on, but it was interesting.
Gotta love living in California!
