une is here and so is the 12th Annual Truckee Brew Fest Sat June 10 2017!
We have a number of great local fund-raising events here in the North Lake Tahoe - Truckee area and the 12th annual Truckee Brew Fest presented by the Truckee Optimist Club at the Truckee Regional Park in Truckee, California this coming Saturday, June 10, 2017 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. is one you don't want to miss!
This is a fun, early summer Tahoe event and this year promises to better than last year with over forty (40) specialty brews from Northern California and Nevada breweries, live music, brats, BBQ and silent auction!
If you like to sample different local and regional beers, and you enjoy being outside soaking in our beautiful surroundings, while listening to great music by Drop Theory, then this is the event for you!
It’s a wonderful combination of beer tasting, food (brats anyone?), and my personal favorite, the thrill of a silent auction! Can you think of a better way to enjoy a Saturday afternoon in Truckee?
You may not know that the Optimist Club of Truckee is a non-profit group that has several fund raising events throughout the year.
All funds raised go toward the youth of the Truckee community. Funds raised go to support their programs, which include: sponsorships, grants, and major scholarships for the youth of Truckee.

Truckee Brew Fest Sat June 10 2017
When: Saturday June 10, 2017
Where: Truckee Regional Park
10050 Brockway Road, just ½ mile south of downtown Truckee on Highway 267, Truckee, California
Time: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Cost: $30 per person in advance, $35 per person at the door. Must be 21+ year of age.
Entry includes all of your tastings during the event!
Designated Drivers admitted free and taxis are available!

Since the event will be held outdoors remember to always dress in layers to handle the changing Truckee weather that day.
It's still early summer and our day time temperatures are expected to be cool on Saturday, with highs in the mid 50's.
In the sunshine it will feel good, but in the shade, or if there is a light breeze it will feel cold, so dress accordingly!
Remember to wear comfortable shoes, your sunscreen, drink plenty of water, and don't forget your sunglasses. It should be a great day to be in Tahoe!
The North Lake Tahoe - Truckee area is a fantastic vacation and second home destination and the 12th Annual Truckee Brew Fest this Saturday June 10, 2017 is just the beginning of our wine and beer tasting fund raising events, street fairs, festivals, free music and movie events that our area is known . If you haven't made your plans to be here Tahoe this summer, now is the time to do it.
For those that haven't been to a previous Truckee Brew Fest this a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon in the North Lake Tahoe area!
Beer tasting, food sampling, and the thrill of the silent auction. You know you’re going to have a lot of fun and you’ll be supporting a wonderful local organization, who is focused on raising funds for the local Tahoe youth.
This is a big fund raiser event for the Truckee Optimist Club. In the past, they have raised nearly $20,000 from this event and those dollars go directly towards scholarships, grants, and programs for our local Tahoe youth, so come out and support this organization.
