Welcome to the ongoing weekly series called Tuesday Travelogue. We are in our 131st week!
Each week, some ActiveRain bloggers are spotlighted to take us somewhere we may not have been on some kind of virtual travel (and it doesn't cost a dime!). Here is the purpose:
to enjoy the ride"
"take a trip without even leaving the farm"
"expand your horizons"
"see through someone else's eyes"
and hopefully much more!
This one is a bit late today...real estate, great gardening weather....you know how it goes. You have to seize the moment!
Taking time for ourselves in real estate is sometimes catch-as-catch-can and allowing ourselves moments that don't require work for others is the best kind of relaxation and very needed for balance. This is a different twist on the usual Tuesday Travelogue.
Mindfulness Moment is my first "travel" place, to the Main line in Philly--not exactly a place of leisure that I would immediately think to go to! But, Nick&Trudy Vandekar give us a chance to see the other side of Philly, by spending time in their garden.
I don't usually put photos of people in my Tuesday Travelogues, but this one is about "savoring each extraordinary moment" and sometimes that means gathering lots of people together who are all related and going on a Caribbean Cruise!!! Thank you for the reminder, Dorie Dillard.
In the Moment, A Whale Tale, there aren't lots of people who can say that they've experienced this first-hand and since I have, let me tell you that it's jaw-dropping! Ron and Alexandra Seigel take us there. I love what Alexandra said: "I stopped taking pictures. It was a choice of being in the moment or recording the moment."
Another family "moment" from Maryland/DC that was so worth sharing, even though it is a photo not of travel, but of something precious. Coming back from Iraq. A BIG welcome home. Dan Quinn stands as a proud father-in-law talking about this reunion!
I'm going to end this travelogue on a very different moment by visiting with a man not from our continent but speaks to things that all of us across the world face in our age of technology. A moment of unsubscribing. Please watch it all of the way through as it's TOTALLY entertaining and will end your moment here with a laugh!
Norm and Sandy Padula bring us great joy with this grand TedTalk .
Please don't forget to comment on these blog posts and I hope that you enjoyed all of these virtual travels.
