Goethals Bridge To Close After 89 Years
News alert New York City, Staten Island traffic
Friday night 9 June 2017, the old bridge will be closed to traffic until late Saturday 10 Jun 2017 when the New Bridge will be open to EAST bound traffic. Kristin Johnston, crossing this bridge in the rush hour was always slow going. The new bridge will have three 12 foot wide lanes in each direction, and a space for light rail for the future, and a bike/pedestrian walkway too. Much needed. Thanks for your comment.
