Last month Dick Greenberg issued a challenge for a show of our photo editing skills. The contest is all about getting better at photography, by using photo editing software. Dick provided a list of Free options in case we do not already own one. The deadline was extended until June 11, 2017 at 11:59pm for which I am grateful!
Here is my photo:
This photo was taken with a Canon D70 that I had not used for a long time. The photo is a little dark and it shows the trash cans of the neighbors home in the background. It shows too much of the driveway. To fix the problems I tried a few of the free available programs online on Dicks' list. I liked Ribbet but decided to use iPiccy for this challenge.

First I used the cropping tool. That got rid of most of the stained part of the driveway and trash cans on the background. Then I used the Vibrance button followed by the 24% Clarity. Last I adjusted the color, 20+ Saturation, and 7+ Temperature. I was tempted to change the brown grass into green, clean the rest of the stains in the driveway and maybe get rid of the water hose but decided against it and there you have it.
Thank you for the opportunity to learn and expand my knowledge about photo editing. I was a photo aficionado twenty years ago. I forgot how much fun it can be.
