The Fourth of July is celebrated on the first weekend in July in Red Feather Lakes, so the festivities for 2017 are on Saturday, July 1st and Sunday, July 2nd.
This is always a fun time in the Village.
So many people love the Fourth of July in Red Feather, it is by far the busiest weekend of the year!
The 2017 Celebration offers a wonderful array of music, crafts, food and fun.
Here's the weekend agenda:
July 1st Saturday 2017
Kids Fishing Contest 8:30 am–11:30 am @ Ramona Lake
9-4 Arts/ Crafts Fair @ POA, Youth Bldg, Fire Barn & Parking Lot
Band 10-1 in Parking Lot during Arts/Craft Fair
11 am Brisket BBQ @ POA Building Patio
Parade 1 pm – Ramona Drive through Main Street
Memorial Park ~2 pm – Reading of Names on Monument
5:30pm BBQ & Band at POA Parking Lot – Donations for Fireworks
Fireworks @ Dusk over Hiawatha Lake

One year, the fireworks were delayed until a moose could make his way out of the lake!
July 2nd Sunday, 2017
7:30 – 10:30 am Mountain Lions Club Pancake Breakfast at the POA Building
3 pm Annual Membership Meeting & Crowning of Princess Red Feather
7-9 pm BINGO

June 29 – July 2nd Library Book Sale at the Library
This weekend is not the best weekend to experience this normally quiet and peaceful area-
this weekend is about everyone in the community coming together, having fun, and celebrating our Nation’s Independence and Freedom.
