Us seniors are much more active and busy than the generation that the community was built for. It is great to live 2 minutes to the beach! We have lived here for over 10 years and I commute in my golf cart.

Land leases are more common in Hawaii. Leasing the land makes living on the coast affordable as well as giving all the worries of upkeep to the management company!
