Do You Know The Top 5 Industries In Idaho?

Praful Thakkar many people think Idaho is a land filled with nothing but potato fields.  It's true, that is big industry here.  But around my house nobody is growing potatoes. We have corn, onions, mint and a whole bunch of dairy farms. :-) Kasey

Nina Hollander potatoes is what we are known for, that's for sure. I don't think most Idahoans know our top 5 industries either.  I actually probably would have guessed Agriculture, Technology (HP & Micron are big businesses in Boise), Healthcare, Tourism & maybe Agriculture again, lo. -Kasey

We have a surprising tech industry here and a surprisingly low timber industry Sandy Padula and Norm Padula, JD, GRI NMLS#1483386 - much of the state is federally owned land and they have opinions and rules about timber and what to do or not do with it over there in D.C. ;-) Kasey  

At least we are known for something Belinda Spillman!  It could be worse than being known for potatoes. Almost everyone likes potatoes in some form or another :-) Kasey
