It’s been hot-hot-hot in Sacramento for the past week or better. We’ve been experiencing 100+ degree temps.
This weekend “Rafing Gone Wild” will occur. This “non-sactioned” event which draws thousands is slated for both Saturday and Sunday, unlike the single day event of years passed.
The annual “Rafting Gone Wild” event first came into existence seven years ago. It is a testament to the effectiveness of Facebook and other social media generation.
One memorable year, over 12,000 individuals were estimated to participate in the raucous event. However, there has been a crackdown on alcohol, which caused problems with safety, and other issues for law enforcement, and things seemed calmer last year.
