I have to say that national media recognition for your business partner can be very rewarding.
It is even more rewarding when you know how hard they work, not just in their current work, but throughout their life.
And it is even better when that business partner is also your life partner, in this case my wife Doris Phillips.
Doris is my COO (Chief Operating Office) and our Director of National Brokerage Operations.
From scratch she has grown a fantastic team that manages the daily brokerage operations for each of our thirteen states (and growing).
This is no small tasks, as in less than five years we have become one of the fastest growing real estate companies in the country.
The current edition of Realtor® Magazine has an excellent two page feature story about Doris.
Entitled "On Golden Pond," author Pamela Dittmer McKuen did a great job capturing the unique story of our brokerage, its rapid growth, and Doris vision for building a national real estate company.

Doris is an amazing woman, wife, and business leader. She deeply cares about our staff, our agents, and our clients.
She founded and runs a non-profit foundation that provides for children living in area shelters for battered and abused mothers. She works hard and laughs from the heart.
I appreciate the opportunity to share my appreciation and admiration for her and our fun adventure growing our real estate business and sharing our life and love.
I hope you each have someone in your life, both in real estate and personally, who inspires you.
