The time is almost here for the annual Fourth of July Parade. The parade starts at 10:00 a.m. The theme this year is "America the Beautiful. Floats will be judged and prized given to the float with the best flag display, most unique, most patriotic, and little patriot. Head down to Main Street and join the fun!
The Dinosaur Roundup Rodeo is the 5th through the 8th of July. The Special Needs rodeo will start out the festivities at 4:30 p.m. on the 5th. There will also be games and an area with pet farm animais
July 6th through the 8th the rodeo will begin at 7:30 p.m. BFO bullfighting, mutton bustin', bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, saddle bronc riding, tie down roping, bull riding, barrel racing, horse versus ATV hide racing.
The horse versus ATV hide racing is a two person team. One person rides a horse or an ATV around the barrel while pulling a rope with a cow hide tied to it. The second member of the team has to jump onto the hide and holds the rope. The winning tean receives $1000.
