Don't Fall for This Scam from Records Recovery Services of Portland

Earlier this year, I worked with a buyer to purchase her first home. As expected, she was quite excited. It was great to work with her and see her excitement once closed.  A few weeks after closing, I received a call from her asking about an invoice to get copies of her property records.  After she sent it to me, I realized it was a scam service.  All Records Recovery Services does is make copies of public records and send them to the homeowner.  Once I saw the all capital text on the "invoice" I knew it was a scam on inexperienced homeowners.

Good grief.  How many ways can scumbags think of to scam people?  It never ends.
