How Often Am I Asked About.......

By
Real Estate Agent with Edina Realty, affiliate of Berkshire Hathaway 20559860

What do I need to do to buy a home?

At least once a week would be the number of times I am asked that question. And the answer is;

It's so easy to begin. Just follow the steps below:

1.) Work with a recommended loan officer. ( I have a few that are my trusted "go to" people)

2.) Find out how much you can afford. This is the most important part of the mortgage process. You want to know how you are going to pay for the new home so that when you find it, you are comfortable in making an offer.

3.) Begin your search. Work with a recommended real estate agent ( I have a few that are my trusted "go to" people)

4.) A good Realtor will know the properties in the area you want to buy, how to write a WINNING offer, and can navigate you throuh the negotiations.

That's it. If you follow these steps, homeownership will be yours.

Myth Busters

You don't need 20% downpayment. There are loans with as little as 3% downpayment and some with Zero down.

Credit Scores offer a wide variety of eligible scores.

Good luck and call me if you need help.
