Why Are Those Resist Billboards Throughout Sacramento?

The Sacramento Bee has a story in the local section this morning about dating and how some online profiles say if you're a Trump supporter, swipe left (instead of right, because right means you want to hook up). Of course, the reporter also interviewed some sort of "relationship expert" who said politics are entering the dating pool.

 

But politics are not entering the dating pool. People misconstrue what the resistance movement is about. It's not about politics. It's not about Republicans vs Democrats or vice versa. It's about ideals. Values. Rights. But for those of you who understand this, I'm preaching to the choir and those who do not might never get it.

Good morning, Elizabeth -- through the Sacramento Bee website I saw there were billboards across the state but I can't say I have noticed any in our area.   Yet.

Michael Jacobs Maybe it's starting in the north and working its way south?

I notice every time I write a blog on Active Rain that has the ability to perhaps separate buyers and sellers from their agents, no other agent responds. Everybody is chicken shit.

I never really thought about divisiveness on dating sites, Elizabeth!  I don't know why not because I've heard of many 'divided' households! I believe that social media has a lot to do with that - people post what they believe and expect everyone to agree or IT'S ON!

Such ridiculousness - I don't want everyone to think alike - what a horribly miserable world it would be!

Debe Maxwell, CRS We have a divide in this country, whether we like it or not. To ignore that is ridiculous. I don't believe we need to escalate to violence nor shouting matches.

Further, "thinking alike" doesn't always mean identical, but most of us normal people tend to surround ourselves with like-minded people. Why seek agony? Nobody wants that odd-ball punchthrower around who keeps biting, nipping at heels, LOL.
