Market stats for May 2017 show a marked increase in the price for closed sales of condos, villas and townhomes in Highland Beach FL in both price and number of untis sold - 22.  There were also 4 single family homes sold, which is a big increase over prior months, where none were sold.  Highland Beach real estate is hot!
If you are considering buying a home you can still find deals on a condo or house in Highland Beach, but having  a good real estate agent who understands the market and will work with you is a must.a good real estate agent who understands the market is a must.

Don't wait on the sidelines for too long.  Many of our listings are selling quickly due to low inventory. To make sure you don't overpay for your home, you'll want to have an agent that does a thorough market analysis of the Highland Beach condo or home on which you are making an offer.  
It can be more difficult if you are looking for pet friendly condos in Highland Beach, Florida.  That is challenging, to say the least!
Low inventory suggests that condos are not sitting on the market for very long.  This is the market we are in. Low inventory in Highland Beach often has multiple offers coming in on homes similar to what we saw back in 2007. I wouldn't expect home prices to run up quite as fast as they did back then as banks have gotten a lot stricter on lending guidelines and are no longer giving a loan to anyone with a pulse. But mortgage rates are rising.  Low inventory and higher mortgage rates are one indicator that prices should continue to rise.

In May 2017, there were 4 single family homes closed in Highland Beach, FL.  That's a change from the past few months where no single family homes were sold!  

In May, 2017, the average list price for single family homes was $ 2,337,250.  The average list price per square foot for single family homes was $ 530.  

In May 2017, the average sold price for single family homes in Highland Beach FL was $ 2,121,250 with  a sold price per square foot of $ 483.  Average days on market was 22.

In May 2017, there were 22 condos, villas and townhouses sold in Highland Beach FL.


In May 2017, the average list price for condos, villas and townhomes in Highland Beach FL was $ 903,349.  Average list price per square foot was $ 452.  This shows a marked increase over last month in both price per square foot and closed sales. Average days on market was 132.
