The Hawaiian Islands Do Not Talk to Everybody

Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Gold DRE #00697006

When I spent 6 weeks last winter in Kailua-Kona, I talked with a lot of people on the Big Island. They say the islands talk to you, and the Big Island, in particular, seems to speak to men more than women. Which is really unusual because my husband doesn't much care for the Hawaiian Islands. I'm the person Pele speaks to.

However, nobody I invited to Hawaii wants to go. My assistant said she doesn't want to work while she is there and she has no one to replace her. My point is she has to work anyway, why not there? To each his own, though. There will be other trips.

I am glad Pele speaks to you.  One of our clients owns a place in Maui, and she loves working from there.  Because of the time difference, she gets everything done, and has the rest of the day to enjoy.  A

Aloha, Elizabeth -- while you'll be quite busy dealing with real life as well as Sacramento real estate, I'm sure you'll be able to carve out some time for an umbrella beverage or two.   Have a safe flight and a nice time.

Hope you have a wonderful time, even if much of it is spent working on real estate matters and taking care of Internet, furniture, and batteries! Not a bad place to have to do those things but someone has to.

Elizabeth,  I would not want to be working while in Hawaii either.  Enjoy your time working and do what you do - and talking to people.

Elizabeth, remember PELE likes GIN but you have to pour it right down into the Volcano. And where is everything available on the Big Island? Costco. Darn, wish I could have gone but am in the middle of some listings & closings here. But later this year....see you in Hawaii. Aloha.

Elizabeth, have a wonderful time in Hawaii, and too bad your assistant doesn't want to work there!

I get it, Elizabeth... three of our grands were born in Hawaii. The Big Island is my personal favorite. Enjoy your break there.
