The 2017 Middletown, Ct 4th Of July Fireworks Festival, will go off tonight, Saturday, July 1st if the weather permits . This year's Fourth of July Fireworks Festival in Middletown, CT will follow a similar format to the last three year's Fourth of July Fireworks Festival. There will be a music festival before the Fireworks Display on the Connecticut River, by Harbor Park, and in front of City Hall.
The Festival will start on the City Hall front lawn at 6:00 p.m. featuring the Los Sugar Kings and Sweet Daddy Cool Breeze. The Middletown Symphonic Band will also perform patriotic music through the Fireworks Display which will begin at 9:30 pm, and last about 30 minutes. From 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. the Middletown High School Jazz Ensemble will entertain those present at Harbor Park.
