Waking Up in Hawaii is About Hearing the Birds

Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Gold DRE #00697006

Waking up in Hawaii, listening to the birds sing and not hearing another sound is remarkable. No whiny cats. No world getting ready to go to work on this street. You know what's even more incredible? The fact that I was able to set up and use my new Keuric coffee machine without reading the manual. Usually foreign pieces of plastic are terrifying, in their own way, for those of us who find assembling things fairly frustrating.

After I set up the coffee machine and made my first cup of coffee, I read the manual. Then I promptly threw out the first cup and brewed another.

The photo above is something that is growing in my yard. It must grow only in the spring or summer because it wasn't blooming last winter. It's not coffee beans, even though there is a resemblance of sorts.

Our condo in Florida is close to the ocean but without much traffic. Unlike Oklahoma City we wake up to the same thing and it amazes us every day.

"Overachieving" is also writing twice as long a blog as you would normally...you were really on a tear. You go, girl. What are you doing on your 2nd day there, now that there is nothing else to do? Oh, right, drink coffee and look at that great ocean view.

Marie Haydock You live in beautiful country, too, no doubt about it. My husband would give his right arm to live there. It's too cold for me in the winter, tho. Whenever and if I ever get around to retiring, I would not rule out a summer house near there.

Joe Pryor I have to pinch myself occasionally too. I can't sometimes believe I am really where I am. This is the power of having goals.

Hella M. Rothwell, Broker/Realtor® My second day here was spent buying and setting up all sorts of accent pieces and lamps. Today I shop for silverware. dishes and pans, maybe a broom. Not very exciting things but still haven't done that since I was 18.

Enjoy your time in Hawaii, over achieving being a part of that.

I saw that movie about Ray Kroc and feel like I never want to eat McDonald's again.

Chris Ann Cleland Well, I only got to the part where he started franchising it and quit his membership in the Country Club. I'll have to watch the rest of it. Maybe I can get it through On Demand now that I have TV here.
