SUNDAY, JULY 2
Waterbury: Fireworks & Food Truck Fest Sunday, July 2 from 2 to 10 p.m. at Brass Mill Center.
A Waterbury Symphony Orchestra concert will be in Hamilton Park at 8:30 p.m. The fireworks display will launch from Holy Land at 9:15 p.m. There will be 25 food trucks, vendors and fireworks. Admission is free. Raindate July 9.
MONDAY, JULY 3
Naugatuck: Fireworks Monday, July 3 at 6 p.m. on Old Firehouse Road.
The event will include entertainment, food, family oriented activities and fireworks at 9:15 p.m. Rain date Wednesday, July 5.
Contributions to the Fourth of July Fund may be made at the Naugatuck Public Works department, 246 Rubber Ave., Naugatuck 06770.
TUESDAY, JULY 4
Cheshire: The Cheshire Historical Society will present a reading of the Declaration of Independence Tuesday, July 4 at 10 a.m. on the Church Green.
Woodbury: Woodbury Democrats invite the Woodbury community and guests to attend a reading of the Declaration of Independence Tuesday, July 4 at 9:30 a.m. at the Town Complex, 281 Main St. S. For information, call 203-232-8231.
Middlebury: The Annual 3-D Fireworks spectacular over Lake Quassapaug will be at 10:15 p.m. Tuesday, July 4 at Quassy, Route 64. Special viewing glasses will be sold to benefit Healthy Eyes Alliance. With paid admission to the park.
Thomaston: On Tuesday, July 4, the residents of Old Northfield Road in Thomaston will host A Children’s Parade in honor of the founding of the USA. This tradition was started 52 years ago by the late Mary Reynolds. All children who wish to participate, along with their parents, are invited. Wear red, white and blue; decorate your wagons and bikes and join us. This year the parade will form at 10:30 a.m. on View Drive, off Old Northfield Road. Step off at 11 a.m.
FRIDAY, JULY 7
Torrington: Carnival and fireworks at Torrington Middle School. Gates open at 4, fireworks at dusk. Rain date July 8.
SATURDAY JULY 8
Beacon Falls: Beacon Falls family fun fireworks will be Saturday, July 8 at 6 p.m. at the Pent Road Fields.
