Is there perpetual togetherness as toddlers?

Most of us who have playmates at preschools, few will come across each other again. Laura Scheel and Matt Grodsky have known each other since pre-school days. Matt even vowed at age of three (3) he will marry Laura someday in an play program.  

Like most of our childhood friends, we go different ways and memories often flash back. Most think it is part of growing up and that was long long time ago not taking it seriously.

Laura & Matt Grodsky reunited together in high school. Within two weeks they are together again. Although they did not attend same high school each went to different colleges.  Twenty years later Matt proposed in front of their pre-school just as he pledged twenty years ago -see below. 

With social media like FB, Lnkd it is easy to find your lost childhood friends. As for our grade school we have East Coast, Northern and Southern California chapels annual social meeting and sometimes summer outing. That has been on going since 7th grade. Our 6th grade teacher flew from Belgium met us at a local private university sponsored by our classmate now the President. There were perhaps 200 attendees. Next door teacher was escorted by an old man. It is her student I know only by name not his current looks. The teacher looked younger than her student with proper make-up. I was contemplating last year not go to the annual reunion there as the alumni are too young. I did not know anyone any more. This year I met several including my older sister class. A few did marry someone I know someones brother or sister from grade school. Yes, couples can remain together.
