It has been 241 years since the Declaration of Independence was signed. On July 4, 1776, the 13 colonies unaminously adopted the Declaration of Independence. If you have not read it recently, here it is: Declaration of Independence
We get to live in this land of opportunity and freedom. As we stand, remove our hats and sing the Star Spangled Banner, it is a reminder that we do live in the land of the free nad the home of the brave.
Preamble to the US Constitution:
We the People of the United States, in order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, Provide for the Common Defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution of the United States of America.
