Fate Texas made national news in 1965

Fate Texas, this small little town made national news in 1965. Marina Oswald traveled to Fate, Texas to be wed by the Justice of The Peace. It is told she did this to elude reporters who had heard of the engagement. Fate must have been really small in 1965 with few residents and probably seemed far from Dallas!

What once was wheat field views on the drive to Fate , is Rockwall shopping & many restaurants, movies, car lots & entertainment venues! Located approximately 30 minutes from downtown Dallas in Rockwall County, half the town is Rockwall Schools and half is Royse City Schools. Close to Lake Ray Hubbard & minutes from Greenville Texas.

Home prices range

  • from the low $200,000s to the high $300,000's for new construction
  • from $199,000-$300,000's for pre-owned homes

So if you want a brand new home or prefer immediate move-in, with a small town feel close to entertainment and Dallas.......Fate Texas may be for you!  Call me today for more information and viewings.
