Probably once a year, I go to those I "follow" and those who "follow" me here on Activerain just to see what's going on.
FOLLOWERS:
I am gratified to see that those who follow me are mainly dyed-in-the-wool Rainmakers, often with hundreds more following them than I count on mine. And most of them I recognize whose blogs I religiously read and often comment on.
FOLLOWING:
Interestingly, I found quite a few who did not have many followers and I don't recognize them. In order for me to "follow" them, they must have written something interesting that caught my attention and I hoped to see more of them. But you know what? FEW of them have written anything else during the year. They must have come to Activerain all enthusiastic, but then dropped out.
And that's too bad, because I want to focus on ACTIVE ACTIVERAINERS.
UNFOLLOW:
So those of you who came into Activerain for just a short period of time but don't feel we are worth it to stay, well, I really don't want to keep you on my list of "following".
No, you can't just come meet us and then expect to just sit back and get referrals, for example. Those we leave for Activerainers whom we interact with here on this platform on a regular basis to a point where we actually "know" each other.
OVERALL:
I am following just over 400 and I surprised myself that I didn't want to cut into that number.
And that's good news. I feel I know this many wonderful real estate agents and related members here from whom I learn something daily and get business from some.
