Like to do stairs? Well, this is the ultimate work-out with 200 stairs on an incline? There is a new HOT SPOT for this type of exercise - Challenge Hill at Philip S Miller Park in Castle Rock.
There are 200 steps on a slight incline that increases elevation. The steps are wide enough if you have 2 or 3 friends with you and you can all be side-by-side. You will know how many steps you have done, as every 10 steps are marked.
You will find some that don't want to do the full 200 steps, and make it only to 30-50, that's OK. Take that all your own speed. Walk forward, or do them sideways and give other muscles a work-out.
As you are doing the incline, and need to take a break - turn around and enjoy the views! When you get to the top and need to take a break, there are a couple of chairs before you start the decline.
We see many working to get back into shape, or those training for a marathon or other events. Some take the stairs many at a time, others one by one. It is all up to you, it is your work-out!
Here is more on the park, with more to do than doing steps!
