The Santa Monica, CA Income Property Market Trends Report is published!

 

As you can see that based on the Median Days on Market Income properties remain robust and clearly a seller's market. Most people would be surprised of this data, since Santa Monica has a very strong Rent Stabilization Control and Department. The Reality is many people move to Santa Monica from all over the Globe but do not stay for various reasons, hence from an investor stand point the odds are more than likely that there will be regular turnover hence the risks are minimal that you will end up with a very long term tenant.

Inventory has been tight now for three years and as you can see there has been little change to these numbers.

It is clear buyers see a value in investing into the Santa Monica, CA income property market.

As in Jane's comment above, it has been many years since I have been to Santa Monica but my husband used to work there and we would frequent the area alot. I know that you would be the perfect agent to represent a buyer or seller because of your market knowledge of the area. Many people don't realize how close it is to Beverly Hills and to the entire LA area. It is my favorite LA county location.
