Maui's north-shore is made up of different neighborhoods. You have oceanfront homes along the coast located in neighborhoods like Spreckelsville. Life can be very nice living on the ocean community. You have the Maui country club for a round of golf or tennis. I love how you can bike ride from Spreckelsville to Kanaha Beach, which is a popular windsurfing beach. You can view all oceanfront homes in Spreckelsville Maui.

Paia Maui

The North Shore of Maui main hub is Paia Town, which draws folks from all over the island. Paia is an old platation town that use to be a sleepy little town not to long ago.

I love Paia town, it has a little something for everyone. You can walk or ride your bike from Spreckelsville and Kuau. There are also homes for sale in Paia, you can view all homes for sale in Paia Town from my website.

Paia is the heart of the Northshore, a gathering place for windsurfers, kitesurfers, surfers, artist and hippies. The northshore offers some excitng surf in the winter at Hookipa Beach Park and Jaws Maui. Myself I love surfing and windsurfing on Maui's northshore when I can get a way from work. I been surfing at Hookipa for 45 years, and my boys are stand out surfers out in the surf.

I love to visit Paia Town when I go to Mama's for lunch! I am going to assume the name of Spreckleville had to do with the sugar industry once upon a time. Hi Sheri, Klaus Spreckels started the sugar industry. He was also friends with the reigning King at the time. They use to play poker together and drink whiskey, very colorful history. And yes Paia town is a very cool place.
