Be Careful in Hawai'i

Hawai'i Volcano Danger

I was born and raised in Hawai'i. Its beauty is alluring but it masks its dangers. Please be careful in the water and on the land. The latest tragic death is on the Big Island at the Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park.

A 38-year old man was found 25 feet on the caldera floor. The volcano is inactive but initial reports are that he may have fallen after an apparent fall. This is tragic news for his family and friends.

Please be careful in Hawai'i.
