Lawrence "Larry" & Sheila Agranoff. Cell: 631-805-4400 ~ hi Sheila and Larry... at the end of the day, what's more important than an educated society? And the need is so great... I still can't wrap my mind around the fact 100,000+ kids are in such need for school supplies.
Such an important drive, I hope an abundance is raised for the kids! A Realtor friend of mine organizes a backpack drive for kids and stuffs the backpacks with all kind of school supplies for them.

We will see those drives popping around all over very soon....a gift that makes education more of what it should be...more of a gift than a challenge.

Dorie Dillard ~ hi Dorie, initially this Ballantyne Corporate Park effort was to collect colored markers and that's where the name came from. Since then, it's evolved into a full-fledged school supplies drive.
Sally K. & David L. Hanson ~ hi Sally and David... don't know about your area, but I'm appalled by how many kids in our area need school supplies. The community does a great job in raising funds and supplies, but the need never seems to diminish.
Wayne Martin ~ that's for sure, Wayne. And I popped by Walmart the other day where I picked up all sorts of supplies like notebooks, crayons, erasers, etc. at about 25 to 50 cents each. Walked out with bags full of stuff to donate for less than $15.
This is an important cause to support. Thanks for your promotional efforts.

Hi Nina, What a wonderful idea and cause to help all the children, who need school supplies in Charlotte. I know many will donate and contribute to the cause for the children. They are the next generation of leaders.

Chris Ann Cleland ~ hi Chris Ann... I just think it's such a shame that we even need these school drives, especially in affluent cities.

Jerry Newman ~ hi Jerry... Charlotte residents always somehow pull through in such situations... but between the peanut butter drive for food banks and the school supplies drie this month, it's a reminder of how many needy people there are in our area.
Nina, great public post for this drive, and hope they get many donations!

James Dray ~ good morning, James... I do believe we have some groups also organizing a "fill the bus" and "fill the backpacks" drives here. It's gratifying to see so many Charlotteans come out and help.
George Souto ~ hi George... if you ask me, there are just way too many of these needy kids! I still can't wrap my mind around how many we have in the Charlotte area.
Sybil Campbell ~ good morning, Sybil.... Ballantyne is one of Charlotte's most affluent areas and it comes out in droves to support those who are in need.
Joan Cox ~ hi Joan... I do what I can to spread the word each year about this school supplies drive. It may be just one small voice, but every bit helps if you ask me.

Donate, volunteer, make a contribution to Ballantyne's Color The Park School Supply Drive. Seems like a very worthwhile cause Nina!
