Baseball. It's as American as apple pie, hot dogs, and fried chicken.
The Mississippi Braves, a Double-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves, moved to Pearl MS from Greenville, SC in 2005 and it's been fun for Mississippi baseball fans ever since.
Residents within a few miles radius of the 8400 capacity ball park enjoy the weekly fireworks after home games each weekend throughout the season.
Home games are played at Trustmark Park. Spectators have several chances to see the M-Braves play in July.
From Wednesday, July 19 to Sunday, July 23rd, the M-Braves will host the Biloxi Schooners (BLX).
From Tuesday, July 25 through Saturday the 29th, you can watch the M-Braves play the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp (JAX).
Games during the week start at 7:00 p.m. Saturday games begin at 6:00 p.m., while Sunday games start at 5:00 p.m.
Check the weekly specials on the MBraves website. For example, enjoy an impressive fireworks show after each Friday and Saturday night home game. Tuesday nights are two for one, including tickets, drinks, and popcorn.
Come on out to the ball park, bring a group of friends, and support the Mississippi M-Braves during these home games.
