Port Aransas Glamping

Real Estate Broker/Owner with Port Aransas Realty Lic# 543729

The term "Glamping" was new to me until an entrepreneurial Fort Worth family established Camp Coyoacan to Port Aransas in 2016.  According to the folks at GlampingHub, glamping is defined as luxury camping or glamorous camping.

I've already heard from several repeat guests and they love glamping in Port Aransas at Camp Coyoacan.  The camp is centrally located in "Old Town" Port A and close to the beach, shops and great restaurants on Beach Street.  Bicycle rentals are also available.  Recently, The Bend Magazine had a great story about the camp.  Read the story and learn how you can go glamping in Port Aransas.

Keith- I would be all for Glamping, which I'd never heard of, because this Texas gal does not camp anymore!  I'm going to read more about it.

Apparently it is quite popular these days and this new camp has been full this Summer.  I have a feeling the A/C units make it much more appealing to most people.

Keith McMullin I am convinced Glamping came about from men desperate to their significant others out in the wild. Me? I still prefer sleeping on the ground, under the stars.

Good morning Keith McMullin ,

I'm so glad that Kathy Streib featured your post in her Sunday series on her "Ah-Ha" moments for the week! I've never heard about Glamping and still find a nice Hotel better :). I'm sure the addition of AC made this adventure more appealing!

Well that's certainly new to me! I am not a fan of camping but this I would manage I think. Sounds like the accommodations aat some of the safari adventures our friends have been on. Tents? Not really!

Glamping would be the only camping I would do. I had my years of camping in a tent when I was younger. I require far too much luxury these days!

This is totally cool! I LOVE learning new things and I could go for this! Especially not sleeping on the ground. This back can't take it anymore.
