What I learned from my DPOR violation

I've been in the business for 43 years. Received one violation about 10 years ago and did not fight it, although I wanted to. Lawyers advised pay the fine and forget about the jealous jerk who reported it.

I said in a blog my business had exploded 1,000 percent after taking on short sales. It was an exaggeration to make a point, not a fact. But the morons took it as a FACT and fined me for violating Article 2 of the Code of Ethics. Needless to say, my respect for those serving on the Grievance Committee fell to zero. Cold day in hell they'll ever get my support.
